What are audience tiers and how do they work?

Audience tiers let you gate knowledge by user type. You sign a short JWT with your app's secret key when a user logs in — the token tells the agent which tier the user is on (e.g. 'free', 'pro', 'enterprise'). The agent then only surfaces knowledge tagged for that tier. Anonymous visitors see the public tier only.

How does ticket escalation work?

When the agent's confidence falls below your threshold — or when a visitor explicitly asks for a human — it creates a ticket in your connected helpdesk (or sends an email) and informs the user. You control the confidence threshold and the escalation destination in the dashboard.
